At 1500m elevation the views from the top of Jabalcon are incredible. You can see the Sierra

de Cazorla, Sierra de Baza, Sierra de Castril and as far as the Sierra Nevada.

BY CAR - the drive up is a little hair raising! Typically it’s a one car wide track towards the top, so take

care, drive slowly and look out for passing places should you need them. The locals are far more confident and seem to have no fear! Follow the signs in the village

Sierra de Pozo, Sierra de Corzola

These rugged ranges are full of interesting walks, rivers, lakes and mountains. There are

waterfalls with swimming pools, beware the water is shockingly cold! Enjoy the natural

beauty of this area. Our two favourite places are:

small cascades that go right through a fig forest. The river has crystal clear water. We’ve

seen lots of fish, otters and other water animals and dragonflies of all colours. Drive to the

bottom of the valley and over the little ford to park the car in the shade, between the trees

(if you can). https://goo.gl/maps/Sakwf9PJVNFT9Zf46
