The stunning gorge of Castril where fast flowing waters race between rock walls....here you walk along a wooden gangway and enjoy the natural beauty of the scenery. From the car park at the bottom you can enjoy the walk of the gorge, take refreshments at Molinos bar and restaurant.

 

There’s a waterfall and small pools of water along the route. For the energetic... continue on the walk up into the Pueblo Blanco of Castril. It's one of the six villages which make up the Huescar region in the Altiplano. Castril has been officially recognised as a place of historic interest. Of particular interest in the general structure and decoration of the houses, is the use of Arabic tiles and wood. You can wander the maze of tiny streets, visit the church of Santa Maria and experience traditional Andalusian life.
