The water has receded and exposed the ancient hot spring with its balmy hot water bubbling up to the surface, it’s an amazing natural wonder and free!  These mineral-rich waters have gathered naturally into this pool and have also been channelled up to the paid baths above “Banos de Zujar”. Bathing in either of these provide therapeutic and medicinal benefits—and some good old-fashioned relaxation.  The Banos de Zujar is very authentic and costs €2.50 for a swim.

Enchanted fig forest & River - This is our guest's favourite picnic spot, especially on a hot day.  It features many times in our reviews. There’s a lovely picnic area beneath tall trees as well as by the side of the river. You’ll find a walkway over the streams and small cascades that go right through a fig forest. The river has crystal clear water and guests have seen lots of wildlife, birds, dragonflies, butterflies of all colours, trout, otters and other water animals, Truly enchanting.
