KAYAKING / PADDLE BOARDING
Our friends at Piraguas have over 25 years of experience of Negratín, one of the most beautiful reservoirs in Andalusia. They offer kayaks, paddle boards and pedal boat hire.
HOT SPRING & THERMAL BATH
The other end of the lake is a bed of new greenery bringing nature, colour and birdlife to immerse yourself in. The water has receded and exposed the ancient hot spring with its balmy hot water bubbling up to the surface, it’s an amazing natural wonder and free! These mineral-rich waters have gathered naturally into this pool and have also been channelled up to the paid baths above “Banos de Zujar”. Bathing in either of these provide therapeutic and medicinal benefits—and some good old-fashioned relaxation. The Banos de Zujar is very authentic and costs €2.50 for a swim.
SPA
The Balneario De Juzar spa has two indoor and one outdoor pool (all thermal water) as well as a Sauna, Turkish bath or Roman bath. The new spa offers hydro-thermal therapies, vichy shower and a pressure jet. Casa Bella Teepees guests receive a discount.
HORSE RIDING
Yeguada la Dehesa is a family stud located in the valley between Baza and Caniles, where the horses love their life of semi-freedom in this rugged landscape. You can ride in the countryside with a wide variety of landscapes, complete with views of the Sierra de Baza and Andalucian cave dwellings.
HISTORICAL WALKING TOUR OF BAZA
Danny from One Foot in the Past (a self proclaimed explorer and adventurer) shares his passion for the history of Baza. A fun and informative walking tour. In 2.5 hours you will; discover the influences of the Iberians, Romans and Moors on the Town, find out how the Napoleonic wars and Spanish civil war impacted the area, learn the story of Baza’s unique fiesta, explore and experience the history, and beauty, of Baza as you wander around its narrow, enchanting streets.​
PICNICKING
Enchanted fig forest & River - This is our guest's favourite picnic spot, especially on a hot day. It features many times in our reviews. There’s a lovely picnic area beneath tall trees as well as by the side of the river. You’ll find a walkway over the streams and small cascades that go right through a fig forest. The river has crystal clear water and guests have seen lots of wildlife, birds, dragonflies, butterflies of all colours, trout, otters and other water animals, Truly enchanting.
STARGAZING
Sleep under the stars in our Native-American teepees and experience the most amazing starlit nights. Low light pollution means we are a hotspot for star gazers and astronomers from the whole of Europe who wish to see so much more in the darkest of nights. Being Spain’s southernmost region, Andalucia features a desert like arid climate with summer months experiencing high temperatures and cool evenings, making Andalucia one of the best Starlight regions in the world.
MASSAGE THERAPIES
Massage therapies are available here in this unique and tranquil setting either under the jasmine tree or right next door to your teepee. Pamper yourself or take time to aid aches and pains, it's good for your mind, body and soul!

FREE TAPA
Our guests can’t believe that you can get ‘free’ tapa accompanying every cold drink in our neighbourhood! It’s a tradition here and something we LOVE!​ Going to a bar for drink and tapa is the social thing to do here, and the excitement.......
Cortijo Búho.
Cortijo Búho is an educational facility that teaches people of all ages about birds of prey. Matilda is a highly experienced falconer. She doesn't do bird of prey displays and is not open to the general public, but you can make a private appointment. You’ll get the opportunity to learn about the different species, fly them and feed them!
